Treasures Report

Treasures Report dated May 5, 2007 

Balance on Hand as of May 5, 2007 was $3585.02.

Total Income was $4370.00.

Disbursements were $2654.21.

Balance on hand dated October 20, 2007 is $5300.81

Steam School Report

Jeff Bloemers reported that the 2007 steam school was a success. He encouraged  members to sign up for next year’s school.

2008 Steam School will take place on September 26, 27, & 28 with the fee remaining at $50 per person.

Next year instead of a catered meal from Famous Dave’s they will have a meal catered by Marian Anderson and crew. The meal will be optional and will cost $10.

Jeff said he will place an ad in Engines and Engineers magazine again and he will also advertise the steam school in the show directory.

Jeff said he has a few left over 2007 steam school manuals and is selling them for $5 each. Contact him if you would like one.

Mike thanked Jeff for all his work with steam school. Good Job Jeff!

Jeff asked for approval that the Steam School committee be able to make decisions regarding the schools expenses.

A motion was made and seconded to allow the steam committee to make decisions regarding their expenses. The motion carried.

NBIC Report

The National Board has updated Appendix C with many of the changes we have discussed over the past 3 years. The state is looking at these changes and has a meeting scheduled for October 31, 2007 to discuss changes to Comm. 41. Our state rep. Pete Burno will be on hand and will report back.

New Business

Paul Reckelberg indicated that he does not want to seek re-election of the Vice Presidency position at the end of his term.

Paul suggested that we consider the Maritime Museum in Manitowoc, WI as a future meeting location.

Final Remarks and Next Meeting

The next meeting is on February 9, 2008 at the Town of Wien Hall near Edgar, WI.

There will be presentation given by Bill Petitjean of Lubrication Specialties Corporation in Stearns, KY on water treatment and lubrication.
